Romeo is the "Cat Who Came in From the Cold." He showed up on my porch the end of 2010. He was unwilling to come inside and I wasn't allowed to touch him. Over the months, I began a a progressive touch program...one finger, little stroke, long stroke, hand stroke until we became connected. That landed him in a carrier and off we went to Great Plains! I named him "Porchy" and when I called Great Plains to check on him, asking "how MISS Porchy was doing, the reply was: "That's MR. Porchy to you!" A surprise! He is silky, loving and always responds to me when I speak to him. He is my constant tagalong, is protective of me and growls like a dog when he hears something that concerns him. At 15 lbs. he is my BIG, FLUFFY, BEAUTIFUL KITTY!!
