During a cold and rainy March in 2009, I found Gabby in the bushes, crying. She was cold, wet and so hungry. After feeding her, I took her to my vet for a health checkup. She had every bug imaginable. And when she was taken in for spaying, they found a tear in her abdominal wall. She would not have lived much longer. I posted flyers everywhere with no results. This was during the housing crash when some pet owners abandoned their animals when they were forced to move. We believe that was Gabby's story. She soon turned into a frisky, spunky little girl who races around, jumping anywhere she pleases, even at this age! She became the sweetest snuggler and will not leave my side in bed. I am forever grateful that she chose my bushes on that cold, rainy day. She's my sweetie pie!
