We adopted Anakin from Great Plains SPCA February 1st 2021. It was love at first sight! This little munchkin was a surrender & immediately had 7-8 kidney stones removed & was neutered by GP/SPCA. We were told that his owner lost their apartment during the pandemic, that Anakin & his prev owner had been living in their car for several months, & that Anakin's prev owner had suffered from an overdose. Anakin had been in that car with his owner in dire condition until police/fire/ems arrived & removed his owner & rescued him. It is unknown to us if his previous owner is deceased, but I can tell you something happened that was very serious because to this day little Anakin gets nervous when he hears sirens & sees police cars or officers!! We love him sooo much & are sooo blessed to have him! Please vote for Anakin!!
