My fiancée and I adopted Sunny as a puppy from Joplin Humane Society when we were sophomores at Pitt State. He survived parvo, kennel cough, and a fungal infection and was the last of his siblings. We weren’t planning on getting a dog but there was something special about Sunny and we knew it was meant to be. Sunny is our pride and joy and has seen us through college, getting our own place, and now getting married. Even though a lot has changed in our lives over the years the one that that has stayed the same is how much we love and care for our Sunny boy.
