We adopted Cagney and Lacey when they were 3 months old, last 2 left out of the litter of 8 that were dumped out in the country. We couldn’t leave 1 behind so we took them both home from Bea Martin Peck Animal Shelter in Ottawa.
These 2 girls are my sole dogs and with them life became better. To see the girls grow up and old together and the love was amazing. The love and compassion they showed each other and others is something we could all learn from. Their synchronized movements and looks were perfect and shows they were far more connected then most. A gift they truly are. Sadly we lost Lacey in April 2021 and Cagney just in September 2021.
