Lady is a two year old Yorkshire Terrier rescue from a puppy mill. When my previous yorkie rescue, "Lucky" crossed The Rainbow Bridge after his 18th birthday, I was devastated. However, I knew he would "send" me a companion to help fill the huge hole in my heart. Searching a rescue website one night, I saw a puppy named "Sissy" available for adoption. I applied and as fate would have it, she became my new fur baby!! I changed Sissy's name to "Lady" after the famous Disney movie, "Lady and the Tramp". When I first got Lady, she looked more like "Tramp" than "Lady". I told her, "I hope you grow into your namesake." As she got older and her fur coat grew into the more typical Yorkshire Terrier coat as shown in her contest photo, Lady did indeed become a "Lady". :) I love her WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!
