We adopted Noli 3 weeks after our sweet 16.5 year old yorkie passed away. I had been looking at rescues on line for about 2 weeks. I came across a couple puppies that had sweet faces. Their names were Hazel and Ivory. Hazels picture was closer up like she was sniffing the lens which seemed so silly and a perfect fit for our family. When we got to the shelter and saw the two in the kennel I actually liked Ivory (Cannoli), so they got her out and handed her to me. She immediately licked my face, then my daughters and last, my husbands! That was it for me. She chose us! Going from a 7 lb dog to a 6 month old 45 lb dog has been quite an adjustment, but she is OURS and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Our 2 cats may disagree!
