Adoption or Rescue Story
We lost our beloved pit bull rescue we had for 12 years last year. Our Jack Russell was lonesome so we set out looking for another rescue for our family. We looked at several places and even drove to the twin cities and saw many wonderful dogs. Now that we are in town with limited space a smaller dog seemed wiser. We drove to the FM area on a very cold blustery day on Dec 29th to look at a couple of dogs at 4 The Love of Dogs rescue. When Jake locked eyes with mine and I felt that soul connection we knew he was going home with us. He is 6 years old and did not even know the sit command. He has now been with us for 4 months and completed 2 dog obedience classes. Life is good for him now AND us.
