Adoption or Rescue Story
I found Squeaker at Lake Bemidji State Park fall of 2016. Him, his 2 siblings and his mom were living under a stack of pallets behind the shop building. He was just a kitten, and scared of everything. Only the momma cat trusted me. I went to feed them every morning before work, and was eventually able to capture them all with the side of a live trap for the kittens. I took them home with me and attempted to find their owner, but no such luck. I took them to the vet to get shots and a checkup. The momma cat went to live with a co-worker of mine, my husband and I kept Squeaker, and his 2 siblings (Spitfire and Pumpkin) were brought to Great River Rescue. Now, Squeaker is one of the cuddliest cats I've ever known. He will be 1 in August.
