Purpose
The GRR 2018 Calendar Contest is a fundraiser for Great River Rescue. Our goal is to raise funds to help us continue in our mission to save, care for, and adopt shelter pets. All proceeds less GoGo PhotoContest fees will benefit Great River Rescue.
Eligibility
The GRR 2018 Calendar Contest is open to all photographers 13 years of age or better who have adopted or rescued a pet, or their family has adopted or rescued a pet.
Great River Rescue will review every photo entry and reserves the right to reject any entry under its sole discretion.
Entry Period
Contest entry begins at 10 am on May 1, 2017 and ends on May 22 at 9:00 pm. Photos submitted before or after the entry period will not be eligible. Votes may be submitted anytime during the Entry Period.
A $5 entry fee will be charged for each entry.
What to Enter
Great River Rescue is committed to serving the best interest of the animals we strive to protect. For our Contest, we are asking people to show their commitment to the animals in their lives. We are seeking photos of adopted and rescued pets which illustrate your love for those pets.
Photos should not have been altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contract, etc.)
If you choose to include people in your submission, you are responsible for obtaining permission from those people.
Voting and Contest Winners
Winners will be determined by the total number of votes received through the GoGo Photo Contest website. Voters must donate $1 per vote. The top four vote getters will be highlighted our 2018 GRR Adoption Calendar. As part of the top prize, they will earn a photoshoot with your pet(s) by Photography by Trish. The photo displayed in our calendar will be chosen by Great River Rescue from the available photos from your photoshoot. The GRR Calendar will be printed and made available to the public in November of 2017.
$100 Photography by Trish gift cards will also be award to the next four top vote getters.
