Dexter joined our family three years ago this July, adopted through GRRR. From the moment he arrived, he brought warmth, joy, and that classic golden charm into our lives. Leaving behind his golden sister Sadie, he stepped right into his new role alongside our golden, Sadee—and it was as if he had always been here.

Though he outweighs Sadee by nearly 15 pounds, Dexter is a gentle giant and fully respects her as the household alpha. His heart is as golden as his coat, and his spirit is one of loyalty, kindness, and endless play.

A true “ball is life” dog, Dexter lives for a game of fetch and will happily retrieve until someone makes the (often reluctant) decision to stop throwing.

Dexter is more than just a good boy- He’s family.
