Ava (formerly Spring) rescued our family on May 5, 2023!! Ava was born in the GRRR on March 7, 2023 as one of Brooke's five puppies. Ava was the smallest in the litter, and her whelping mother told us there was concern at birth that Ava may not survive due to her size. Ava is now a vibrant two-year-old Golden girl weighing 65 pounds. Ava is an avid ball player, catching balls one after the other mid-air and from behind her shoulders! Ava is an adventurous girl, who has joined us on a road trip to Florida and hiking trips to Hocking Hills and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Ava loves going for walks in the park and tormenting squirrels, bunnies, birdies, and deer! Ava has filled a void in our family left after my Mom's death in June 2022, and we will be forever grateful to this precious, precious girl!!
