Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Sammy (almost 2 years old) from GRRR on September 12, 2025. We fell in love with him the first moment we saw him. Sammy started his life at a puppy mill, and GRRR thankfully rescued him so we could later find him. We have learned from DNA testing that he is 84% Golden and 16% Bernese Mountain Dog. Sammy loves his older sister Lily, who is a black lab. He sleeps on the bed with us at night and seeks to please all day long with hugs and kisses. Sammy goes on near daily runs or walks and is learning to play catch and frisbee. He is a gentle soul who makes lives of the others he touches better.
