This is Sam. No, he's not a dog. But this contest is for the Top Dawg. D-a-w-g. Merriam-Webster defines a "dawg" as a man, a buddy, a dude. And that describes Sam to a T. As a cat, he isn't eager to please. His main hobbies include lying around, being picky about food that isn't shredded and covered in gravy, and attacking unsuspecting feet. Not necessarily the contest-winning qualities of the sort that many of the other entrants undoubtedly possess. But Sam doesn't care. He is who he is. He may not get a lot of votes. That's cool.
