Pet's Story or Bio
Zorro was found on the side of the 401, and luckily some good samaritans led the way for his transfer to Happy's place! Once in their care, he underwent dental surgery to remove several rotten teeth and unfortunately incurred a minor jaw fracture in the process. Since we adopted Zorro on November 27th, 2020, he has healed from his surgery and blossomed from a shy and timid little old man to a happy, outspoken, and relatively confident dog; who just happens to have his tongue sticking out in some capacity almost all of the time. :)

As Zorro has become more comfortable, we have been finding more of his amazingly adorable quirks! When someone knocks or rings the doorbell, or if he sees the mailman, Zorro will tilt his head back and bark out some chicken noises.

Zorro, who is guessed to be about 13, is completely blind in his left eye due to a cataract but luckily can see out of his right eye where he has nuclear sclerosis. He is scared to go up or down sets of stairs, so we currently carry him up and down while working on his confidence building.

He is now in his forever home and is spoiled rotten!
