Pet's Story or Bio
Bobby (previously known as Bello) was an owner surrender dropped off in deplorable conditions. He was shaved upon arrival since his fur was so incredibly matted and infected. Underneath sat a huge untreated bacterial infection in addition to painful long-time infected ears. Cocker Spaniels are known for skin and ear issues and sadly this boy was left in this state for a long while to get this bad. He needed major dental work and was neutered before his heart murmur was discovered. Bobby is completely deaf and has very weak hind legs. He's a bit wobbly but he's gaining strength every day! He loves his meals and does a happy dance while his dinner is being prepared! And with nourishment and love and lots and lots of kisses, we hope he'll continue to gain strength. He's a happy-go-lucky, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who is up for anything! We (including his new furry siblings) couldn't love him more! He makes us smile and laugh every day! And even though several vets have told me that he's much older than we thought...he's still a puppy at heart! And he's pretty cute in that jacket!
