Pet's Story or Bio
Both Georgie and Penny are rescues! We adopted Georgie as an anxious 2 year old who would run from every room of the house from us last year. She has come so far from the dog that was dumped in a shelter because she was not good for breeding and is a loving well mannered dog today. Penny came to us as an extremely overweight 14 yr old foster (Happys Place) which was her second time in foster care. We soon decided she needed to be with us permanently to continue her healthy journey. In the last few months she has lost 6 lbs (25% of her body weight ) and grown back all her bald fur patches and can actually go for a walk and even runs a little. She is the sweetest personality and has really helped Georgie grow more confident. These two are a true testament to the power of rescue and the amazing love rescue dogs can give no matter what they have been through.
