Pet's Story or Bio
In honour of this little girls 13th Birthday, I wanted to enter her into the contest to raise money for other senior rescue pups like her.
This is Roxy, a spry old girl that was rescued from a puppy mill. When we first rescued her she would not come out of the corner of her crate, was very skinny and had an infection on an old incision site. Roxy was absolutely terrified of everything! She slowly regained her trust in people ( with the help of her fur sister) and is now the boss of the house! She loves to lounge in the sun and snuggle up in all the warm blankets. She can't contain her excitement when treats are in view and her mom is her absolute favorite person to be around. She can still be nervous when there are loud noises or with people she has never met, but as long as her sister goes first to make sure all is safe Roxy will also follow for lots of belly rubs, attention, and with any luck, treats!
