Birdie Barkette came to our home as a rescue from Happy Tails this past fall. It took her a few months to feel comfortable in her new surroundings. But now she is an important and loving part of our family. While the smallest of our four rescues, she has an attention getting growl when protecting a dog toy in her possession.
