We were told that Mae came from "down south". We recently visited Watauga Lake in Eastern Tennessee with Mae and she didn't miss a beat. She loved it down there! And we did too. She truly is our little Southern Bell. This is a photo of her doing her best 'bat dog' just north of Elk Mills, TN on Watauga about four days before Helene. I'd like to see Mae become Miss September and an ambassador for Eastern Tennessee. ❤️
