Niklas Hjalmarsson was rescued from an over crowded shelter near Lexington, Kentucky the end of 2014 with his brother. He was about 7 months old and was in foster care for over a year. As Hjalmarsson has Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever, his adoptive family was the perfect match and took such great care of him as he needed some follow up care for some health issues. Many months later, I convinced his adoptive mommy to be tested as she has had some serious health issues for a few years and she was also Lyme positive. Hjalmarsson is her therapy dog for sure and when Pammie has a bad day-- he is there to offer comfort as only a dog can. He and Chloe the rescue kitty are buddies and its funny how much they look alike. Please vote for Chloe and Hjalmarsson!!
