Clancy is such a special strong Pointer. We just reached her 2nd anniversary in IBR's program and many of the IBR volunteers/ adopters and friends know what a struggle this poor dog has had. Clancy was found starving and follow up blood work showed heartworm and at least 4 tick borne diseases. A case of pneumonia followed and then the 16 month continued struggle when as a last resort we had some very decayed back molars removed. I have countless gray hairs because of the worry over this sweetheart and have had many sleepless nights when she slept in my room and struggled to breath. This is the most recent photo of her and with a lot more hard work and sinus care, she is smiling again. Please vote for Clancy-- she is a true testament of what Illinois Birddog Rescue is all about.
