A little about me...
Rosie is a German Shorthaired Pointer that had been dumped out of a car in a western suburb of Chicago and wound up at the local Animal Control. She was very thin, had patches of hair missing all over her body and she also had staining on her tail and back end from laying on damp straw- probably in an outdoor kennel. This photo was taken the day I picked her up. A few days later she stopped eating as she became infected with a nasty upper respiratory infection. We also discovered she was severely anemic and was infected with Lyme disease. With a lot of TLC, Rosie started to recover and our hope is she finds the best most loving forever home. She certainly deserves it.
