In memory of Shaun. Shaun came to us as a foster. He was suffering from Lyme and Rocky Mountain Fever. He also had very enlarged testicles and a huge growth on his back leg. He was the sweetest tap dancing pointer. My 2 yr. grandson fell in love with him and called him Shaun Shaun. My sons family planned to adopt him and take him with them to Texas. Shaun went in to be neutered and have the growth removed. Surgery went well and he was recovery nicely. But the next morning when we went to pick him up he had crossed the rainbow bridge. They say he didn't suffer, a blood clot caused his death. He looked very peaceful when we visited him and hugged him one last time. We were all devastated!!!! Shaun now occupies a spot on our mantle with our other lost ones.
