Mitch joined my family last spring after being rescued a year ago. As with may rescues, he did have RMSF but with the help of IBR and his foster Maggie, he received the treatment and love needed to get healthy.

Mitch is truly a joy to have around the house and is the hit of the neighborhood . He greets everyone with the wag of his tail and that look that makes them walk over and give him a little love.

I had not planned to get another dog after my previous ES passed in January. However, after 6 weeks, I decided I needed a companion to spend my days with. What I did not realize was that Mitch would make me laugh often at his goofiness, smile frequently at him when he is smiling at me, and to be my first dog allowed on the couch for cuddling.
