Allie is our very special Mississippi puppy that was found in a shelter with her mom and 3 other siblings in August. When she moved to foster care with her sister Abby in northern Mississippi, she was having a lot of trouble keeping food down. She was also much smaller than her siblings. After several vet appointments and a scope by a specialist, she was diagnosed with a serious birth defect call PRAA- Persistent Right Aortic Arch. Without open chest surgery, she would have to be euthanized because the opening to her stomach from her stomach was blocked. We raised over $3,000 to get the procedure done and as of 11-16, she is 4 weeks post her medical procedure and she is now eating much better and gaining weight. Allie's momma, Allyson, is a beneficiary of the Have A Heart 6 fundraiser as she has heart-worms. VOTE FOR ALLIE!
