My name is Ginny (formerly Candy Cane). I was one of over 60 cats rescued from a hoarder house in Beamsville in the Fall of 2018 by my friends at the SPCA. I was a terrified little kitten. The SPCA staff told my adoptive family to ease into socializing with me and to expect that I would always be timid and shy. I was instantly loved by my two kids, parents and furry siblings in my nice new home. I have exceeded all expectations and instead of being shy forever, I am so “out of my shell”, that my favourite place to sit is proudly on the stairway banister. Not one of 60 cats fighting for food and to survive, but out in the open, perched on my throne, LOVED and BEING MY FABULOUS SELF!
