Pet's Story or Bio
This is my wonderful best friend Sarge. He is around 3-4 years old and I had the honor of meeting him and adopting him on 1/14/18 through the rescue Mindy K. Whisman works for. For months I pandered over his pictures as I awaited the process for adoption. I know very little of his prior life besides him living on a foster farm in North Carolina before being transferred to maryland for his adoption. I know everyone has a story for their dog, but like everything this dog who is more than just a dog is my best friend and family and he is unique and I wouldnt have him any other way. I remember sitting in the office in millersville with Mrs. Mindy as I put final signatures on paper. The door to the office opened and this mammoth of a dog came in, it was sarge! He came running in and was the giddiest most curious fellow I have ever met. At that moment the rest was history. At first he was distant and I could see he was afraid and would cry in his sleep and still does but I comfort him the best I can. But after all this time we are thick as thieves, he gets excited whenever I come home from a short trip and we walk almost anywhere. This picture isn't the most photogenic but it shows my best friend happily enjoying his day, and that's enough for me.
