Pet's Story or Bio
Wilma was rescued in 2013 from Anne Arundel County animal control. She was surrendered by a neighbor after her owner was admitted to a senior center. We were told Wilma had been chained to a concrete slab all of her life. Her stature certainly spoke to that. Her bones were deformed from the heat and the cold seeping in, her coat sunburned and ear tips chewed off by flies.

Wilma loves her new life. Loves! She's our greatest rehab. Now she's fighting for her life due to a perforated ulcer caused by continuous arthritis medication. Her former life once again determined to beat her down.

But, Wilma is determined to make it back to her new family and living the good life AND to make the 2019 Dogs for Days Calendar! Please vote for her!
