Winners receive a photo shoot by a local photographer* for their calendar page, their contest submission photo featured on a mutually-agreed-upon day, and a finished calendar.
Pet of the Month Winners (12 Winners, includes Category Winners)
Top 5 Dogs, Top 5 Cats, Top 2 other pets will be featured as Pets of the Month in the Heartland Humane Shelter & Care's "Pets are Family" 2021 Calendar. Winners will have choice of month in descending order of votes and receive a finished calendar.
Judge's Choice Winner (1 Winner)
One special pet will be chosen by the panel of judges to appear on the cover of the Heartland Humane Shelter & Care's "Pets are Family" 2021 Calendar and will receive a photo shoot by a local photographer* for their cover photo, their contest submission photo featured on a mutually-agreed-upon day, and a finished calendar.
*Photo shoots may occur at the winner's home or another mutually-agreed-upon site depending on photographer availability and may require pet drop-off and pick-up for COVID-19 safety.
