Bailey is a 9 year old German shepherd who was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy at age 7. She went from an energetic, playful dog who loved swimming to a cart dog within months. Bailey is still as happy as can be running all around the neighborhood enjoying all life has to offer. She enjoys socializing at a brewery for the afternoon or visiting nursing home residents who connect with Bailey and her wheelchair. Although every day is a new challenge as her disease progresses she figures out how to adapt while maintaining her spunk and loving personality.
