Pet's Story or Bio
At the age of six months, Sadie made her way from a shelter in Texas all the way north to a shelter in Maine. It was there that I met her and adopted her shortly after the initial meet and greet. As an Australian cattle dog mix, she enjoys multiple walks a day through our city and sometimes we are lucky enough to slip away and enjoy a hike into nature. In fact, this picture was taken as we trekked up Mt. Washington. She also enjoys chewing on a variety of bones, tearing apart squeaky toys and tennis balls, chasing squirrels in the yard, walking on the beach, and running after snow that is being tossed in the air. The cooler climate of Maine does not seem to bother her at all. I am having a great time watching her learn and grow (and learning quite a bit myself). I hope we have many years together!
