I had to put my dog, Maddy, down January 2023. I wasn’t looking to adopt another dog so soon but Blue was in a tough situation so one of my friends and I went up to NH and I adopted him. He was very reactive to pretty much everything. I got a dog trainer who helped a lot but I was living in Newton and it was just a lot - a lot of cars, joggers, bicyclists, other dogs, noise… so Blue and I packed our stuff and moved to Natick this past May. He was settling down and his personality really started to shine. This past October, Blue was diagnosed with lymphoma. He rolls with the punches - he’s happy, cuddly, jogs almost the whole time we walk, enjoys his food and snacks, loves his naps… He is love personified.
