Gracie was my first skittish dog. I learned a LOT from her and it took a LOT of work, but we built a bond and trust I’ve probably never had with another dog. Where she’s not skittish at all…on the hiking trail or generally running in nature. It’s truly her “happy place”, just like mine, so maybe that just says we were meant to be.
