What my person says about me
Babsey was approximately 4 or 5 years old when we met 4 1/2 years ago in my yard. He was homeless and it soon appeared as if he had always been. It also appeared as if he'd never had a relationship with a human before. Although extremely skittish, slowly he allowed me to touch him and now, he can't get enough of his head and neck rubs. In time, he came inside for periods of time but only on his terms—that I'd let him out into the yard whenever he wanted for he cannot tolerate being kept inside 24/7, since the outdoors has always been his life, home and comfort zone. He's gotten to the point where he'll often sleep inside, and cuddle with me when in the mood--never forgetting to let me know how much he loves me through his kisses and falling into my arms with a hug. Babsey, this sweet, stubborn, fearful, smart, picky, challenging and loving little guy, continues to grow leaps and bounds and it's been fascinating to watch. He's added so very much to my life and I'm sure he feels similarly having with me along with his very first home, which he's loving!
