What my person says about me
Mildred, 2002 (?)–2025. Mildred was a prisoner in a so-called rescue at 3 years old. Animal Control raided the place, and Friends of Long Beach Animals cared for the pets. I offered to foster one of the cats, and FOLBA's then-president, Shirley Vaughan, offered me Mildred, whose name was then Iris. Silly name for her! I kept her, of course, and we had 20 fun years. She was grandma to every cat who came to the house. She's now waiting on the Rainbow Bridge, sitting on Shirley's lap.
