The top 3 participants to receive the most votes, when the voting period ends, will be contacted by Helen Woodward Animal Center to claim the following prizes:
1st Place:
The pet with the most votes will be Helen Woodward Animal Center’s Official “Superhero Sidekick” and will be awarded with the following prizes:
- Your sidekick will get a hero’s welcome at their own private photoshoot* and receive a full-page feature in the 2022 Helen Woodward Animal Center calendar
- Guest seat at the 2022 Surf Dog Costume Contest Judge’s Panel
- 2 silver tickets to the 2022 Spring Fling Gala
2nd & 3rd Place:
The 2nd & 3rd place winners will be awarded the following prizes.
- A full-page feature in the 2022 Helen Woodward Animal Center calendar
- A basket of Center goodies
The Top 12 Pets Overall:
The top 12 pets with the most votes will also have a full-page feature in the 2022 Helen Woodward Animal Center calendar.
Additionally, all participants who raise a minimum of $100 for your photo will receive a free 2022 Superhero Sidekicks calendar.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
*A new color portrait may be taken of the domestic pet(s), whose photo was submitted to the contest, by a professional photographer chosen by Helen Woodward Animal Center. Photo session must take place on site at Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, CA before November 2021. The Center reserves the right to select which photo of the set will be featured.
