Tell us a little about your horse and the bond you share!
This is “My Gypsy Soul” who was rescued as a yearling in 2016. I’ll never forget the day I first saw her in the pen during my daughter’s riding lesson, scrawny, dull coat, and mean. Her back right leg scarred and despite her circumstances her eyes remained kind.
When the opportunity presented itself to purchase her my heart didn’t hesitate. She was a small force to be reckoned with at a young age and even the more mature horses in the paddock wouldn’t dare come near her for risk of being kicked. It took a while, but she began to trust again. Her personality emerged as a gentle and level headed mare.
For the past 8 years Gypsy has been my best friend, my trail partner, a shoulder to lean on and confidant. To say I’m obsessed with her is an understatement. She is my heart horse and my Gypsy soul.
