Pet's Story or Bio
Ruger was rescued by the Herkimer County Humane Society in September 2019. When he was found emaciated, with wounds on 3 legs, weighing a mere 25lbs and barely able to stand up. Herkimer Vets took him into their care as the Humane Society looked for a foster. We agreed immediately. He was so trusting and wonderful as we helped him heal. Then we couldn’t let him leave our family!
Ruger is a very healthy 58lbs now. Lovin’ life. He lives for his walks with Bob and one would never realize how much FUN finding and carrying a stick can be!!
