Here's Garfield--the CEO of the Furry Bored of Directors around in these parts!
Sadly, Garfield and his brother, Oliver, belonged to a young lady in our neighborhood who didn't pay them any attention and would leave them outside for days, weeks, months at a time while she was away from her home visiting others. One day, out of the blue, she returned to her home to collect her possessions and randomly decided to take her two cats to the local shelter. Now, I had been feeding these two handsome brothers for many months, providing them with good food, loving, and a warm safe place to sleep whenever they visited, and when word got to me that they had been dumped at the shelter, I ran right out and checked at every local shelter in the area until I found them and officially adopted them both. They are both on the executive level of Nap Time, Treat Consumption Operations and Cuddle Currencies, but Garfield makes no bones about it--he is absolutely at the highest senior level when it comes to Lunch Hour--his favorite time of the day!
He's sure hoping to his expertise in the FBOD will earn some donations for a great organization, and maybe, just maybe, with just a little luck(who knows??), maybe this might catapult him into enough local stardom to help launch a new TNR clinic in the area. What do you think everyone?
