A little about me...
Merlin was adopted from a shelter about 5 months old. From that day forward, Sebastian was his big brother and the center of his world. No matter how many times Merlin was hissed at, he would find away to cuddle with Sebastian to sleep. Merlin’s fur grew into this short sleek black hair coat. About a year old, unknown to us, he started doing “the panther walk”, slow, head low, almost prowling. Eventually discovered we had a little black panther living with us! How fun! Oh, this kitten-cat continued to grow. He had always been so graceful running and jumping. Now we have this gangly teen (no little panther) who is having difficulty climbing the big tower- his legs had grown long, it looked like he didn’t fit on it anymore. It just took Mer awhile to learn how to climb with his new long legs. Cats are very interesting to see growing up, instincts coming into play. As a kitten, standing on a triangle scratcher, he stood on the diagonal, head down- facing the floor- to scratch on it, every time, that was just Merlin being Merlin.
