A little about me...
I named Tika after a World Wildlife Fund “adoptable” tiger. Depending on what source you use, the name Tika means: Sun Maiden (Navaho), Flower (Sioux) or “Spicy” (Hindu). She is, in fact, all three of those things❣️We adopted Tika from Paws of Gold Rescue out of Warsaw, NY. She was just a tiny, shy kitten rescued from a shelter in the Bronx when she came to us. She came as a “duo” with Oscar, a very outgoing, silly kitten with ginormous ears (which he has finally grown into) rescued from a shelter on Long Island. Oscar was her protector and teacher. He coaxed her out of her shell, and now she likes to ride around on our shoulders as often as possible.
