Charlie is a 14 year old service dog. Charlie is the "strength" that my husband needs after serving our country in Vietnam and the Middle East. Charlie brings joy, happiness and a reason for living everyday despite my husband's daily pain and depression. Charlie is " the light" of our lives!
14 years ago, we were blessed to hold Charlie in one hand. I trained Charlie along with required courses to become a Service Dog for my husband.
We have traveled across the US and back 3 times, and we have been very blessed to have his head on our shoulders as we travel. Charlie developed cataracts 2 years ago, and we were lucky to find a Pet Doctor who provided cataract surgery. Charlie guards us very well, as no dogs or horses have ever been able to come into our home through our TV..
Charlie is a special being and has brought us I joy his entire life
