This is Kai my 12-year-old calico cat, a beautiful and sassy girl I adopted from the Heritage Humane Society back in 2013. We just celebrated her 12th birthday, and over the years, she’s become more than just a pet—she’s my best friend and a true member of the family. From the moment I brought her home, she brought warmth, comfort, and a little bit of sass into my life. She has a gentle soul but isn’t afraid to speak her mind when she wants attention (or tuna treats). Her favorite things in the world include lounging in sunny spots around the house, chirping at birds from the window, and curling up next to me during quiet moments. I’m so lucky to have her!
