A little about me...
John Boy was adopted from the Humane Society and is the dog love of my life. He is what many people refer to as their heart dog. While I've been close to many of my dogs, he is only one of 2 that I felt this close to. John Boy is my first Poodle and people laugh because he sticks out like a sore thumb in my pack of bully breeds. It is hard for me to admit that I may be a Standard poodle fan for life now. He's ridiculously intelligent, emotionally intuitive, goofy, loving, expressive and just an absolute joy to be around. The shelter cat Aladdin is John Boy's best friend at the shelter. John Boy adores squeaky toys and loves to squeak them over and over, especially when you are on a live video or conference call. He never destroys his stuffed toys and playing ball is a great joy of his as well. He fancies himself a bird dog and even tries to do the "point" stance. John Boy is very agile, light on his feet, polite, and always prances like a show horse.
