A little about me...
Sweet Sophie was born September 6th, 2022 as part of an accidental litter. Her original humans reached out to a Central Ohio rescue for help and went into foster care when she was just 9 weeks old. Her foster parents (Mom is a veterinary nurse) quickly noticed there was something amiss with her medically, and shortly after entering foster care she was diagnosed with some congenital abnormalities. After diagnostics and surgery at Medvet to correct these issues, her foster family opted to adopt her and make her a forever part of their family. Sophie is now 3 years old, and she weighs 120 lbs! DNA testing showed this large and in charge girl is an equal mix of Labrador, Standard Poodle, German Shepherd and Akita. She's a big girl who absolutely loves other dogs! She likes to look out the window for her friends when they walk by- and then she literally yells for them to come over (which they often do!). Sophie would absolutely win the Miss Congeniality award in any contest.
