Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Mia from HAL in November 2014. (Thank you Mandy K...amazing foster mom!) She was 6 and had been given up by the only family she ever knew due to a family member's health. Mia was severely anxiety ridden, missing her right hip socket, suffering from dental problems and had poorly functioning kidneys. In other words, she was perfect in every way and she won us over from day one. She lost her battle with kidney disease this past May. She loved us with her whole heart, as we did her. Thank you Mia for 3 1/2 great years...you were simply the best. We miss and love you, Big Girl.
