Hi, my name is Dora. I love to go for walks, go camping and hiking, and I’m always up for meeting (and by that I mean sniffing) new people!
My life always wasn’t so good. I was found skinny and beyond scared on the streets of Philadelphia in March 2017 in below freezing temperatures. Even though I was afraid of what was going on I was very sweet the people at ACCT fell in love with me, advocated for me, and the great people at Home At Last Rescue took me in and saved my life!! My foster mom introduced me to a lots of people but they kept leaving. I guess they didn’t like that I wasn’t a puppy, or that I have deep scars on my face and body. Finally one day before Christmas another couple came and met me and gave me some loving. Just a few days after that my foster mom came to me crying, and kept saying “You’re getting a home for Christmas”!
I get so much loving now. Everyone that meets me says they’d take me home in an instant, which is funny because I spent so long with my foster mom. And here’s something else weird, my forever mom said I don’t have deep scars, I have beauty marks!
My new family and I will be forever grateful for Home At Last Rescue for saving my life!
