Adoption Story
My husband and I were looking for a friend for our other HAL alum, Tucker, when I stumbled across the silliest looking little “Peanut” on the HAL website. We went to meet him at an adoption event that weekend and instantly fell in love. His foster mom had been calling him “Petey” because she felt he was way too spunky to be a Peanut, and upon getting to know him better, the name stuck. Petey has been the perfect addition to our family. While he can certainly be energetic and mischievous, there is nothing he would rather do than cuddle with his humans and his brother. Plus, he has the cutest ears we have ever seen.
