Adoption Story
We knew it was meant to be with Tippy. There's a reason we kept her shelter name- right after the Covid restrictions were lifted, we were finally able to visit my grandmother in the nursing home. She has a stuff-animal dog, which she normally says is named "Molly" after the most recent dog she had. But this time (which was the same week I was searching to adopt a dog) she had randomly announced, "This is Tippy!" - the name of her very first dog when she was a young girl. And wouldn't you know, I had just submitted my application to adopt, Tippy!
